Frequently asked questions

Where are my files saved?

Single-output operations (watermark, page numbers, password, scan) ask you to pick a location with the system file picker. Multi-output operations (split, PDF→images) and merges go to Download/PDFTools/.

I can't find the output file

Open your file manager (Files by Google, MIUI Files, etc.) and navigate to Internal Storage → Download → PDFTools. The History screen also shows the recent outputs and lets you open or share them directly.

The app says my file is too large

Free tier allows files up to 50 MB. Premium has no size limit. You can upgrade from Settings → Premium.

The merge says "Maximum 3 files reached"

Free tier merges up to 3 files at once. Premium removes this limit.

I subscribed but Premium isn't showing

Open Settings → Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Google account that bought the subscription. If still missing, write to us with your purchase order ID (visible in Google Play → Account → Subscriptions).

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open the Google Play Store app → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → ABC PDF Tools → Cancel. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You keep Premium until then.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are managed by Google Play. Open https://play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory, find the purchase, and tap Request a refund. We don't process refunds directly.

The watermark / page numbers come out as squares or boxes

The PDF font (Helvetica) doesn't support some characters. Use Latin-script text and standard punctuation for now.

The app crashed

Sorry about that. Open Settings → Support → Export crash log and email it to us. The log contains the stack trace and device metadata — no file contents.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. All processing is local. The internet is only used by ad and analytics SDKs (and only for the free tier).

Do you upload my files anywhere?

No. Files never leave your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
