How to rotate a PDF
- Choose or drop your PDF.
- Pick the rotation: 90° right, 180° or 90° left.
- Rotate all pages, or type only some, like 1-3, 5.
- Tap Rotate PDF and download the file.
What is this tool for?
Scanned documents and photos converted to PDF often end up sideways or upside down. Rotating fixes the pages so the document reads correctly when you open it, print it or send it.
The rotation is saved in the PDF itself and it happens on your device, so private documents are never uploaded. Text and images are not recompressed.
Limits to keep in mind
- Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened; remove the password first.
- The rotation applies to the pages you choose; each rotation adds to the one the page already had.
- Some programs show a page rotation differently; the result is correct in all standard viewers.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is processed in your browser, on your device. Your file is not sent anywhere.
How do I rotate a PDF and save it permanently?
Load your PDF, choose 90° clockwise, 180° or 90° counterclockwise for all pages or only some, click Rotate PDF and download it. The new file is saved with the corrected orientation.
Can I rotate only one page?
Yes. Choose Only some pages and type the page number, or several like 2, 4-6.
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. Only the page orientation is changed; content is not recompressed.
Which way is clockwise?
90° clockwise (right) turns the top of the page to the right. If it ends up wrong, run the tool again with the other option.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Yes. Scanned PDFs rotate just like any other PDF.
