What is this tool for?

Merging PDFs is useful when a form asks for a single file but you have several: an ID front and back, a contract and its annexes, invoices from the same month or scanned pages that came out as separate files.

This tool runs entirely in your browser, so confidential documents are never sent to a server. It also adds no watermark and has no daily limit.

Limits to keep in mind

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?

No. The merge happens inside your browser, on your own device. The files are not sent anywhere.

How do I combine two or more PDFs into one file?

Choose or drop your files, put them in the order you want with Move up and Move down, and click Merge PDF. You then download a single PDF with all the pages in that order.

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on the number of merges.

Can I change the order of the files?

Yes. Use the up and down arrows next to each file. The final PDF follows the order of the list.

How many PDFs can I merge at once?

There is no fixed limit. The practical limit is your device's memory, so for very large files merge them in smaller groups.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes, it works in modern mobile browsers on Android and iPhone. Large files may be slower than on a computer.

Why can't I merge my PDF?

The most common reason is that the file is password-protected or damaged. Remove the password or try opening it in another program and saving a copy.
