How to clean text
- Paste or type your text.
- Press “Remove line breaks”.
- Check the result; use Undo if you change your mind.
- Copy the result.
What is this tool for?
Text copied from a PDF, an email or a web page often keeps a line break at the end of every line, which breaks paragraphs when you paste it somewhere else. Removing the line breaks joins the text into one clean paragraph.
It is handy for lists of names, emails, keywords or product codes, and for fixing paragraphs that came out cut into short lines. Everything runs in your browser and your text is never uploaded.
Limits to keep in mind
- Duplicates are lines that are exactly equal, so “Apple” and “apple” count as different.
- Sorting treats numbers naturally (2 before 10) and follows the rules of the page language.
Frequently asked questions
How do I remove line breaks from text?
Paste the text, press Remove line breaks and copy the result. All the lines are joined into one paragraph separated by single spaces.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. It is processed in your browser, on your device, and is not stored.
Does Remove duplicate lines keep the order?
Yes. It keeps the first time each line appears and removes the repeats, without changing the order.
Can I undo?
Yes. Undo goes back step by step if you chain several actions.
