How to play
- Choose your opponent: the computer (pick a level and who goes first) or a friend on the same device.
- On your turn, tap a column to drop a disc, or tap the ↑ arrow below a column to pop out your disc from the bottom row.
- When a disc is popped out, the discs above drop down one slot and the column resettles.
- The first player to line up four discs of the same color wins. If popping creates lines for both players, the player who popped wins.
About this version
In PopOut the board never fills up completely: popping discs lets you undo moves, reopen columns and create threats with discs that drop down. Be careful that popping a disc doesn't hand your opponent a line.
Since positions can repeat, if the same position appears three times the game ends in a draw. Everything is calculated in your browser and nothing is sent to any server.
Good to know
- You can only pop out one of your own discs, and only from the bottom row.
- A draw comes from repetition: the same arrangement three times.
- The Undo button takes back your move and the computer's reply.
