How to print sudokus
- Pick the level (from Easy to Extreme) and how many puzzles you want, from 1 to 12.
- Decide how many puzzles go on each page (2 large or 4 smaller) and whether you want the solutions on separate pages at the end.
- Check the preview. “Another set” generates new puzzles; with a known game number you get the same ones back.
- Tap “Print” and send the page to your printer, or choose “Save as PDF” in the print dialog.
Printable sudokus for every level
Each puzzle has a unique solution and is generated in your browser, so there is nothing to download and no server to wait for. The level does not depend on how many numbers are given at the start but on the hardest technique needed: in Easy, looking for cells where only one number fits is enough; in Medium, pairs and intersections appear; in Hard, triples and the X-Wing; in Expert, patterns such as Y-Wing or Swordfish; and in Extreme you have to try hypotheses.
The game number is the seed of the puzzles: if you print game 482913 at Medium level with 6 puzzles, tomorrow you can ask for it again and get exactly the same six. It is handy for handing out the same set to a class or for keeping the solutions of a sheet you already printed.
The solution sheets are printed at the end, six per page, with the numbers that complete the board in regular type and the starting clues in bold.
Things to keep in mind
- The Hard, Expert and Extreme levels take a few seconds to generate several puzzles, especially on slow phones; progress is shown.
- Printing depends on your browser and printer: use A4 or Letter paper with normal margins and 100% scale.
- No sheet is saved and nothing is sent to a server; only your latest settings are remembered in this browser.
