How to play
- Tap Start: words will begin falling from the top. On a phone the keyboard opens; on a computer, just type.
- Type a whole word to destroy it. The first letter picks which one: no other word on screen starts with the same letter, so there is never any doubt. Letters with or without accents are accepted.
- Each word scores length × 10 × combo. The combo grows with every word in a row without mistakes and drops back to zero if you slip or a word falls.
- You have three lives: you lose one for each word that touches the ground. Every 8 words destroyed a new wave begins, faster and with longer words. At the end you see your points and your speed in words per minute (WPM).
What it is for and how to improve
It is an entertaining way to practice typing: it forces you to type fast and without looking at the keyboard, with just enough pressure to keep you focused. Speed is measured in words per minute (WPM), counting every five correct letters as one word, just like in typing tests.
To go far, prioritize the word that is lowest, do not rush blindly (a mistake breaks the combo and costs more than taking an extra half second) and look at the next letter of the word instead of at the keys. If you picked a word and a more urgent one appears, press Backspace to release it and start on the other without losing the combo.
Words come in the language of this page and everything happens in your browser: what you type is not sent to any server. Only your best score and your best speed are saved on your device.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to type accents?
No. A letter is accepted with or without an accent: for “café” it is enough to type “cafe”. Letters specific to a language, such as the ñ in Spanish, do have to be typed.
How do I play on a phone?
Tap Start and the keyboard opens. Type the words as you would on a computer. If the keyboard closes, the game pauses and you resume by tapping the playing field.
How is the score calculated?
Each destroyed word scores its number of letters times 10 times the combo. With combo 3, a 5-letter word is worth 150 points. A mistake or a fallen word sets the combo back to zero.
What happens if I mistype a letter?
The wrong letter does not advance the word and breaks the combo, but you do not lose a life. You only lose a life when a word touches the ground.
How many words per minute is a good speed?
An average is around 40 WPM; with practice, between 60 and 80 is a very good speed. In this game your WPM depends on how many words you destroy per minute, so it rises as you improve.
Is what I type saved?
No. Everything is processed in your browser. Only your best score and your best speed are saved on your device.
